• THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING •

This month is very special, not only is it the twelfth month of the year. It is also my last month at La Boutique · Canary Real Estate, the real estate agency that has been my home for the last three years. 

As I write this blog my eyes are filled with tears and I have many mixed emotions. Part of me knows that my role here is over, however, there is another part of me that feels rooted to all that I have experienced and finds it very hard to let go. 

But... what am I going to tell you? I'm sure you know perfectly well what I'm talking about, if you haven't come from another country to live here, maybe you've moved to another neighborhood, or at least you've thought about moving house. 

Buddha said that change was not painful, only your resistance to it. In the end, they are part of our growth and it is often thanks to them that we enrich our lives. 

So, following the advice of that great teacher, instead of focusing on how sad and difficult it will be to move on without seeing my favorite team, I'm going to focus on being thankful for everything they have given me these last three years of my life.

So, thank you! Thank you to all the clients who have trusted us as an agency and me as a consultant. 

Thanks to the CEO and my great friend Natalia Martín for having delegated her big baby to me, for having trusted in my judgement and for having allowed me to be part of this great project during all this time. 

Thanks also to my battle companions, for rolling up their sleeves with me through thick and thin.  To Anju, for being my mum and for lovingly reminding me of everything that my little head couldn't remember, to Julieth for her frankness and for opening my eyes every time my vision of things was distorted, to Ale for his constant humor and sarcasm and to Sophie for that great organization that we needed so much. 

In short, thanks to everyone, to you who are reading me, to the clients who have trusted us and to the great team that makes La Boutique the company that it is, for having given me so much in such a short period of time. 

And remember, I am leaving, but I am also leaving you in the best hands.
